Found this thread on another site ' Re: Gaia Sound Designer Software by markWar » 04:10, 7 May 2011 Thank you everyone for your replies. FYI, one reason I got to thinking about a new version of the Gaia, is because at the Roland site for the Sound Designer software, at the bottom of the page, in a note, it says: * Before using this product, you may need to update your GAIA SH-01 to the latest version. In order to perform the update, you will need a separately available USB memory device.
So, there are at least updates, somewhere, or coming. Anyway I hope that there will indeed be a firmware update, there’s a thing or two, or five, that they could fix:). Zoiper 3.2 Torrent Version 7.0. ' Posts: 38 Joined: Sun Jan 02, 2011 7:06 am.
That's an unusually long delay yet again, given it was supposed to be finished a year ago almost now. What do people think?
Some have rumoured it's due to an additional firmware update, but I wonder if Grauw's Gaia tool has actually trumped them. Their literature makes no reference at all to arpeggio editing which is a major ommission. Right now they've got the Action List which is nice and an o-scope, but apart from that there's not much reason to look at their software. Posts: 8 Joined: Sun Feb 20, 2011 5:56 pm. I love Grauw's editor! Although I do find it somewhat confusing (anybody know if there's a manual or any tutorials for doing things like editing arpeggios/saving new patches?
Vista Amani Condo Management Office on this page. I've worked it out through trial and error, but I'd love to see how to do it properly.?? As for the sound designer software, I think that any companion software for the Gaia should be freely downloadable from Roland, given the amount many of us have already paid for the synthesiser. I'd expect nothing less! Posts: 49 Joined: Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:32 pm.
If you don't like programming synths via obscure two‑line displays and arcane menu systems, the Roland Gaia SH01 could be just what you're looking for. Roland haven't exactly flooded the market with analogue modelling synthesizers since the JP8000 in 1997.
Adanowsky Etoile Eternelle Rar. It took another 10 years before the SH201 appeared, considerably cheaper, yet unlikely to ever generate the same interest. Next up is the brand new Gaia SH01, which is potentially more memorable, thanks to its impressive polyphony, convenient size and a back‑to‑basics layout. Throw in the ability to act as your computer's audio interface, pitch the price just right, and this curvy white and black synth could tempt beginners, experienced campaigners and live performers alike. Maybe the name has worked its spell on me (I can't stop dreaming of dolphins and incense) but I find the Gaia SH01 to be Roland's most touchy‑feely synth in years. Back-lit buttons in several colours contribute to a look that falls somewhere between elegant and kitsch, with a dash of boutique hi‑fi.
