Hello I recently installed 1GB of RAM into my 4700. I also installed Radeon 5450. I heard this was low power consumption and the 305w CPU could handle it. It all works fine during day or night.
But for the second morning now, when i switch on, the fan blows like a engine and the amber light solid on front panel. E-sword Windows 7. I disconnected graphics card, battery, RAM, SATA cable from MOBO, CPU fan connector from MOBO, processor power connector cable from MOBO. Free Aaron Lazare On Apology Pdf Programs. I should have maybe done this in steps to find problem, getting fed up doing this. But it works after the above.
Can anyone pinpoint what it might be? I'm prepared to buy a new graphics card for HTPC and a little gaming ( 7750 ) and if necessary buy more powerful CPU ( I need suggestions for suitable with this DELL model) say 500w.about. Either this VTX 5450 isn't compatible or it needs more power despite reading it coped with 305w. My RAM should be OK, it;s PC2-5300U, HYNIX DELL. And sitting in front slot nearest to back of PC.
